The Nordiska Museum — Stockholm, Sweden

This is Sweden’s largest museum of cultural history, with over one and a half million exhibits. One standout collection shows how people ate through the ages, complete with (fake) food and table settings. (Just thinking about it makes me hungry.)

For a truly unique art experience, this is the place to be. It’s an immersive, mind-bending collection that takes you on a “macrocosmic adventure of seemingly endless possibilities.” Whoa.

The Field Museum — Chicago, IL

With a jaw-dropping 24 million objects, this is one of the largest natural history museums in the world. So go ahead, soak up everything from ancient cultures to the latest scientific discoveries.

The Idaho Potato Museum — Blackfoot, Idaho
