In 2022, 100% of our employees voted that Gunderson Direct is a great place for them to work, a statistic that is 43 whole points higher than the U.S average for a company (57%).

Gunderson Direct President, Mike Gunderson, went on to voice how proud he is of the company — especially as the pandemic has necessitated multiple adaptions among the staff and within industry as a whole. What Goes into Receiving a Great Place to Work Certification?

As referenced by Sarah Lewis-Kulin, Vice President of Global Recognition at Great Place to Work ®, a lot goes into receiving a certification. She maintains that companies can only do so with a continued dedication to the employee experience. Because certifications are decided by real-time reports employees leave on their company culture, only companies that are truly deemed great employers by their workforces can receive such an honor. There are several important factors. For example, 100% of Gunderson Direct employees maintain that management keeps them informed on important changes and issues, are receptive and respond clearly to reasonable questions, are approachable, competently run the business, and hire suitable people for roles.
