Mike is the founder and president of Gundir, the award-winning direct marketing agency. Since 2003, Gundir has helped businesses drive new leads and close more sales through traditional offline channels, especially direct mail. Its clients have included AAA, Adobe, PayPal, Square, and ZipRecruiter, and the agency consistently ranks among the nation’s top five direct mail agencies. In 2023, Clutch named Gundir the top direct mail agency in the United States.

Mike Gunderson is also the founder and CEO of Respond Now LLC, a direct response product incubator that helps small, medium, and enterprise businesses bring their ideas to market through direct marketing. Its products include PostReminder, VoteReminder, and Respond Fast.

In addition to running his companies, Mike has been President of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) Silicon Valley and has served on the EO board for over eight years. He is also a board member of Inclusive Sports Foundation, which provides inclusive physical and social activities for children with special needs.

Mike spends his free time with his wife and three kids. He enjoys mountain biking on the Pleasanton Ridge and frequent rides through the San Francisco East Bay on his Morgan 3 Wheeler and Triumph motorcycle.

Jeff has been with Gundir since 2017 and has played a significant role in the growth of the agency’s client base while helping to manage growth across agency departments.

Prior to joining GD, Jeff headed up two independent direct response agencies, including Wayfinder, which he founded and ran for fifteen years. He’s a 25+ year veteran and direct marketing thought leader who regularly contributes content to marketing publications, is a podcast guest, and authors a blog on direct mail topics.

He earned a Dual BS in management and communications at Syracuse University and an MBA in marketing at Columbia University in New York. Jeff serves on the communications committee of Working Solutions, a local CDFI non-profit that provides low-interest loans to disadvantaged entrepreneurs. Jeff and his wife share a love of international travel and enjoy attending performance and fine art events — notably anything that has to do with the Grateful Dead.

Lindsay is passionate about bringing to life creative ideas built on strategy and analytics. Her 15 years of advertising and marketing experience, plus her leadership, commitment to excellence, positive attitude, and attention to detail make her a trusted partner and advocate for her team and clients.

Prior to joining Gundir, Lindsay was an Associate Vice President at Pursuant, committed to developing and implementing DM-driven integrated fundraising campaigns enabling non-profits to touch people’s hearts and connect them to organizations that are making a difference in the world.

Earlier in her career, she was an Account Supervisor at TracyLocke managing the Pizza Hut national business; the world’s largest pizza chain. Her team specialized in developing creative strategies and executing all corporate print, merchandising, packaging, photography, email, social and online advertising.

Lindsay loves collaborating with a team whose ultimate goal is to work hard, dream big, and achieve breakthrough results.

She lives in McKinney, Texas with her husband and three kids. They love to be outside, whether it be playing in the front yard with neighbors, camping in Broken Bow or enjoying good food out on the patio.

People person. Avid reader. Bay Area born and raised.  Managing the office and all of our human Resource needs, Jaki wears many hats to ensure the Gundir team thrives and the agency sees continued success.

With over 25 years of experience in the Direct Marketing industry, Bethany has built a distinguished career specializing in direct mail, targeted data sources, and data compilation methodologies. She has worked across a broad spectrum of verticals, including healthcare, retail, education, and non-profit sectors, serving both B2C and B2B clients. Throughout her career, Bethany has developed strong partnerships with enterprise clients, and has offered her expertise to top printers, agencies, and direct marketing companies. She is particularly passionate about diving deep into the data to understand what drives campaign success—identifying the key factors behind client responses and uncovering actionable insights to boost ROI going forward.

Prior to joining Gundir, Bethany was the SVP of Sales at Accudata Integrated Marketing where she wore multiple hats, leading a team of Sales Executives to drive revenue, while also directly managing the companies premier client partners and driving operational efficiencies for customer success.

Bethany truly believes that consistently delivering her best to client partners fosters a genuine, trusted relationship, and allows her to become a seamless extension of their team. This approach, built on open and honest communication, leads to outstanding success and consistent achievement of shared KPI’s.

Outside of her professional life, Bethany enjoys spending quality time outdoors with her husband and two teenagers. They love boating to the local barrier island beaches, fully embracing the Florida lifestyle. When not on the water, they enjoy traveling to National Parks, enjoying new activities in the mountains.

Sheela brings over 20 years of experience in Advertising Print Production and Direct Mail, with a diverse background spanning brand-side and agency roles. She’s led production and operations teams for a Fortune 500 telecom leader, navigated the creative worlds of fashion and design, and collaborated with top-tier clients to deliver exceptional results.

Outside of work, Sheela’s passion for discovery and connection extends into her personal life. Whether spending time with her husband and daughter, exploring new travel destinations, chasing the latest culinary trends, or enjoying a heartwarming rom-com, her curiosity and creativity fuel everything she does.

Alexa has over 30 years in Direct Marketing experience — B2B, B2C, and government. From direct mail catalogs to marketing CRM databases, she has always believed in the power of targeting the right audience in the right way. She partners with clients in data strategy, measurement, and stewardship. She is passionate about connecting marketing investments to a positive impact on sales.

When she is not digging into a new challenge, she likes listening to live music, practicing her short game, exploring the new marketing technology advancements coming out of the Bay Area, and visiting her family.

With over 15 years of experience in creative direction, photo art direction and design management. Tara has in-depth knowledge of the creative process from concept to final production. She is a collaborative leader who knows how to guide a creative team to deliver extraordinary results for our clients.

Mike leverages his extensive customer service and sales history to lead clients strategically and to build meaningful partnerships to fuel their success in the direct mail channel. As a Business Development Manager, he helps nurture business opportunities, educate new clients on direct mail, and helps set up clients for success. As if that’s not enough, he’s the official agency geek, leading our efforts to build processes and tools enabling us to manage our clients’ businesses efficiently. Outside of agency life, Mike enjoys dining out, watching movies, visiting the California coast, and fishing.

A marketing extraordinaire with a passion for client services, project management, and driving results!

When Courtney isn’t at work, she’s channeling Julia Child in the kitchen, going to the theater, or taking DIY to the next level.

With over 12 years of agency experience, Nicole is a collaborative and detail focused creative project manager with a positive attitude and a healthy sense of urgency. She loves project planning, process refinement, QA, and – her favorite part – seeing produced creative out in the wild. After hours she’s obsessed with spending as much time with her family as humanly possible; movies, concerts, baseball games, and long road trips around the US.

Alejandra is a Software Engineer with experience in full-stack development, machine learning, and data science. She has contributed to the development and optimization of critical solutions within a major healthcare system, focusing on improving performance and streamlining complex processes.

Beyond her professional work, Alejandra has participated in data science volunteer initiatives, where she has helped individuals learn how to automate various aspects of their personal and professional lives.

Her creative side is expressed through photography, video games, and pixel art. A passionate animal advocate, she is also the dedicated caretaker of eleven adopted cats.

 Angel is a detail-oriented individual with a passion for organization and a keen eye for detail. Known for her reliability, she ensures that every task is completed with precision and care. In addition, she enjoys billing reconciliation and finding satisfaction in ensuring accuracy and clarity.

In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies, reading books, and attending concerts with her friends and family.

Lacey is a Marketing Data Analyst with a strong background in campaign execution and performance optimization. Before joining Gundir, she worked in designing and executing direct mail campaigns by applying advanced data models to refine targeting strategies. She earned her master’s degree from the University of Southern Indiana with a focus in Project Management.

Lacey enjoys spending time with her rescue dog, being a Swifite, and exploring new restaurants. She is passionate about traveling, staying active, and cherishing moments with friends and family.

Sarah is passionate about marketing, project management, relationships and results! With a keen eye for details and a solutions-oriented outlook, she shepherds direct mail campaigns to success while keeping a smile on her face. When she’s not executing campaigns for Gundir, Sarah loves traveling, trying new restaurants and recipes, and exploring everything the Bay Area has to offer.

Specializing in data processing, Jaime has over ten years of experience in Direct Mail marketing.  She has serviced clients across multiple industries with knowledge in B2B, B2C, and marketing databases.  Jaime loves new challenges and thoroughly enjoys digging into clients’ data to gain knowledge and understanding to offer the best solutions.

Outside of work, Jaime enjoys relaxing at home with her family, dining out, watching movies, and planning their next Disney and beach vacation.

Caroline runs things. Even when she left corporate life to pursue her love of diving, she ended up running a dive shop on a Caribbean Island. Since her job included marketing the business, running tours and teaching people how to dive, she seemed like the perfect person to help keep our clients’ projects “afloat.”

In her current role, she runs accounts both solo and as an assistant to more senior staff all of whom rely on her attention to detail and get-it-done attitude.

When not working, Caroline is on the run. Literally. She’s a runner who also loves cooking and is always looking for her next travel adventure.

As an Account Executive at Gundir, Dalton plays a pivotal role in empowering the account team to flawlessly execute direct mail programs from start to finish. His meticulous attention to detail ensures every project meets deadlines and budgetary goals. 

With nearly a decade of experience in higher education prior to Gundir, Dalton developed a deep-seated passion for technology and innovation, skills he now applies daily to streamline operations and enhance program effectiveness within our agency.

Outside of work, Dalton thrives on culinary exploration, globe-trotting adventures to new horizons, and treasured moments with loved ones over engaging board games. His dedication to excellence and commitment to innovation make him an invaluable asset to our team.

Yoko is our Junior Engineer with a strong background in technical support, process optimization, and data-driven decision-making. Yoko’s primary responsibility at Gundir is to support our agency’s analysts and account team by providing them with effective dashboards and reporting tools so they can make informed decisions and next step recommendations for our clients.

She is a software engineer with over 10 years of experience, supporting reporting and analysis initiatives. Before joining Gundir, she worked for a large payments company where she managed client relationships, led training initiatives, and helped optimize operations.

Outside of working hours, Yoko brings her dedication and enthusiasm to baking, always experimenting with new recipes, and, when not relaxing at home, she loves to explore the world through travel.

Leveraging a wealth of design and project management experience, Jiana is dedicated to  delivering on-point work for a range of clients. She received her BFA in Digital Arts from the University of Oregon. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, connecting with family, watching movies, and exploring new recipes.

With a dynamic background in marketing, project management, and production, Ciera thrives at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and client success. She has experience in advertising, film, fashion and hospitality industries. She’s passionate about bridging strategic teams and creative ideas to drive results that resonate and perform. With a proactive mindset and data-informed approach, Ciera brings imagination and intention to every initiative.

Beyond the office, Ciera enjoys outdoor adventures, traveling, and spending time with friends and family- often with a new recipe in progress.

Laney is a Huntington Beach native and passionate dog mom! By combining her design degree from California State University, East Bay with her studio expertise, she is able to contribute to the creative team in any way she is needed.

Outside of work, Laney is up for any new adventure. Traveling, boating, snowboarding, playing volleyball, hiking, trying new food, or wine tasting: you name it, and she’ll be there!

Brittany is our Production Coordinator with a background in management and scheduling, and has a love for organization and attention to detail.

She is a Bay Area native who loves doing anything outdoors.  When the weather is warm, you can usually find her kayaking on a lake or hiking one of Northern California’s beautiful trails with her wife and daughter.  In colder months, she is most likely bundled up with one of the blankets she’s made and reading a historical novel.

With over 20 years in print production, Shannon has managed everything from displays and packaging, to direct mail campaigns. She has worked closely with creative teams, vendors, and marketers to make sure each project runs smoothly—from planning and budgeting to final delivery. Shannon loves finding ways to streamline production, tackle challenges, and bring ideas to life with quality and efficiency.

Outside of work, she enjoys road trips, the perfect playlist, and spending time with my favorite people, including my dog. Shannon believes life is best when it’s filled with adventure, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

With over 30 years of experience in direct mail and print production, Suzanne is known as a “dot connector” who bridges strategy and execution. Whether delivering direct response campaigns for hundreds of clients at a time or driving high-impact projects for agency partnerships, her focus has consistently been on connecting people to mission-driven outcomes and measurable results.

In her free time, Suzanne embraces opportunities to celebrate life in South Louisiana—whether attending Mardi Gras balls, traveling and cruising, enjoying live music, or seeking out memorable food experiences. She takes her role as a mom and self-appointed “spoiler-in-chief” seriously, both to her three adult sons and her rescue pup, Endy.

With her degree in Human Resources from San Jose State University and background in accounting, Alex is well-versed in all things finance. When she isn’t handling Gundir financials as the Bookkeeper.

Alex enjoys spending time listening to music, traveling with her family, and doing DIY projects around the house.

Javier builds things to solve client needs. His first business, Paparazzi, built custom photo booths and software so that advertisers could create fun moments for trade show participants, promote products and capture contact information. He is keen on using technology to solve marketing problems, always working on the next best way for reporting automation.

In his free time, you might find Javier 3D modeling and printing gadgets or designing and building furniture.

NJ is a detail-oriented professional with a passion for customer service. She has a wealth of experience in data entry, research, and project management. She manages client relationships through web chat, email correspondence, and CRM updates.

Nj also tracks project progress, conducts research, and proactively reaches out to new clients. In her free time, she enjoys reading personal development books, exploring new places, and spending time with friends and family.
